ABOUT ME

Growing up in Australia, my first taste of boating was driving speedboats at the age of 10. After spending years working in the superyacht industry as an electronics engineer, I’ve now been living on board my narrowboat for over seven years. During that time, I’ve developed a real passion for the UK’s beautiful canal network.

My love for boating inspired me to start offering a reliable, professional boat-moving service for owners who are either unable to move their boats themselves—or simply don’t have the time.

I know how important your boat is to you, and I treat every move with the same care and attention I give my own. With a background in electrical and electronic engineering, I’m also happy to offer friendly advice or assistance with technical systems—whether electrical, mechanical, or otherwise.

I’m fully insured, DBS checked, a qualified helmsmen and hold my VHF (SRC) radio certificate, both certified by the RYA (Royal Yachting Association). Based in the North West of England, I cover inland waterways all across the UK.
